We all come across such ignorant drivel on the internet that to learn of such truly remarkable people is a joy and wonder that makes you sit up and take notice.

Thank you, Alexis for the terrific interview, and thank you Mira for recognizing that specifics convey a sense of empowerment much more than glossy, feel-good platitudes. Your courage is infectious.

Thank you for a very informative and yet warm and caring interview. There is a lot that I was able to take away with this. An appreciation of a young lady (Mira) that has overcome obstacle’s and maintains a sense of humor. I have shared this article with a couple of my children that are both writers and performing artists. I am a visual artist, referred to as a senior citizen. The labels that we must deal with in this journey, called life.
